West Devon Borough Council's Local Plan Review was adopted on 8th March 2005.

These are the development briefs for the development sites allocated in the 2005 Local Plan.

West Devon Borough Council is the Land Drainage Authority for the area covered by West Devon and includes parts of the Dartmoor National Park. The Land Drainage Authority's role is defined under the Land Drainage Act 1991, and this legislation gives the Council powers with regard to any ordinary watercourse.
